I don't have a problem with anyone non-Welsh supporting the Swans, far from it. I just don't like seeing long term servants like Leon Britton being talked about as if they're easily expendable commodities, that's all.
opinions Aussie, gotta love them, like assholes arn't they, didn't realise it was you hiding under a diff nic. anyway, we promised ages a go to have a beer or 2 together, 2013 is the plan, (fiji 2012), hope i can get tickets to a few games, fark business class is expensive but i reckon the bed will be worth it on the flight
Musty I have no problem with you supporting the swans, or you not being welsh in doing so, I have even uttered that there is a problem, and in fact only looked at your profile a couple of days ago, it was completely irrelevant to me where you are from, and as I use tapatalk to access the forum mostly that info is not available. I would like to draw a line on this with you though, but I am still welsh and kiwi will never be absolved in my eyes , the same as quite a few qpr fans, the anti welsh bigotory coming from there has been noted not just on the swans forum but on the Cardiff forum as well, plus on the qpr forum! Other fans have noticed the outright hostility coming from qpr fans when people place comments there, and more often than not threads are closed by their moderator as he does not agree with the comments!
I'm not getting involved in this argument but I was once accused of not being a true Welshman because I don't speak the language!! People draw the line in different places but I'm happy being me and with who I am. I am delighted when I see people supporting the Swans when there seems to be no logical reason for their affinity. Welcome with open arms, I say. You all know the old saying about you can't choose your family but you can choose your friends. I think it's just great when people from afar choose to support our football team and I regard them as much a fan as those of us who are fortunate enough to go to the Liberty, when opportunity presents itself, to cheer the Swans in person. It matters not where you were born or where you live. Religious persuasion, race, colour or creed are irrelevant. The one thing that binds us all is our love for our wonderful football club. STID.
what will they have to argue about when the nwo goes mainstream and country border's are a thing of the past.
Yes that will give a few a shock! Mind I think he's already been there, when he stated Pintado is a good striker!!...................... please log in to view this image Just a light touch of humour Ivor!........................ please log in to view this image
I think the point has been missed, just like on good old 606. It's not the fact of where people are from it's what they say. Nobody has said they don't want fans from outside Swansea at all. You can be a deranged Daiswan in Swansea or a deranged mustyfrog in Brisbane, but you're still deranged.
good old jager i would hardly think explaining why i posted on your board is whining all you seem to want to do is namecall are you 12 years old because you certainly behave like one mind you the way you react to any non swansea born supporter can we expect anything else maybe next year they will drop
