I had read this yesterday https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-44846874 Is that it: 14,000 years ago black desert Jordan?
Was it this from the Anniversary Games? https://www.givemesport.com/1357960...es-finishing-line-at-london-anniversary-games
How many different countries were birthplaces of participants in the recent England v India ODI at Headingley? (For the purpose of this question, a country is one that is recognised as one by the ICC, irrespective of whether they are a full, associate or affiliate member. As an example, anyone born in Wales is considered as the same country as those born in England, as the ECB covers both, but anyone born in Scotland would be classed as being from a separate country)
I would guess that all of the Indian team were born in India. For England I would guess at England, Ireland, South Africa and New Zealand - so 5 in all ?
You're correct regarding the India side. For once, there wasn't anyone born in SA in that England line-up, but the rest are correct. The key word in my question is participants, and I'm not referring to substitute fielders, as none show on the scorecard as being involved in any of the wickets.
I have no idea on this but they must have been neutral, so I'll guess at Australia and/or South Africa.
I'll give it to you cologne, although it was Sri Lanka and not South Africa. India - all 11 players born in the area of the BCCI England - Morgan born in Ireland, Stokes born in New Zealand and the rest born in England Officials - Umpire Bruce Oxenford and Match Referee David Boon born in Australia, Umpire Michael Gough and Reserve Umpire Tim Robinson born in England and TV Umpire Ruchira Palliyaguruge born in Sri Lanka
