Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp receives Alisson boost as Roma chief makes bid claim LIVERPOOL transfer target Alisson could be heading to Anfield after Roma sporting director Monchi claimed the Italian giants will listen to offers for the goalkeeper.
Liverpool have been offered Croatia star Marko Pjaca as an alternative is Xherdan Shaqiri. Everton keen on Zaha Everton boss Marco Silva is desperate to land Wilfried Zaha but is struggling to convince him to return up north. Crystal Palace’s Ivory Coast international Zaha bagged nine goals and three assists last term despite missing five weeks injured. He is in demand this summer and Silva wants to bring Zaha,25, to Goodison Park to spearhead a new-look attacking line next season. But Palace are battling hard to keep their prized asset on a new £125,000-a-week deal and are reluctant to sell him. Everton are showing firm interest but Londoner Zaha did not enjoy his previous transfer up north when he moved from Palace to Manchester United in 2013-2015. The £15million flop was subsequently loaned back to Palace and out to Cardiff after failing to settle in Manchester on and off the pitch. But he is the star man back at Selhurst Park who already want to tie him down on a new deal just 15 months after Zaha signed a five-year deal worth around £100,000-a-week. Meanwhile, Silva has taken Everton’s squad to Austria for a pre-season camp after they flew out on Sunday. MirrorSport understands Silva has taken the full compliment of stars and not exiled anyone.
Juventus forward Paulo Dybala not on Jurgen Klopp's list of Liverpool transfer targets The Reds have been linked with a move for the Argentine international but reports are wide of the mark https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...ws/juventus-forward-paulo-dybala-not-14888628
Former Liverpool, Chelsea and Spain striker Fernando Torres has signed for Japanese side Sagan Tosu. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44778247 "I have had offers from France, Germany and even one from Spain but at no point did I ever think about going to another European team," Torres said on Tuesday. "I wanted a new challenge in a completely different place." Japan
If we spend £70m on this bloke I'd be shattered. There's better in the Championship, let alone the Prem.
Then they should have stuck him in a cage with McGregor for that money. I won't watch Juve, but I'd watch that.
If we spent 70mil you can bet we've done some serious extensive research. Not what us fans would see. I'm not saying he's who I want but if he is who we choose it will be because he fits the mould. Personality, training regime etc. Etc. All the things that fans will never see. From a fans perspective I wish we went for Oblak. But these days I actually trust the club with transfers, seems bizarre as about 5 years ago we were buying **** regularly. The most important thing is we go into the season with a proper number 1. Karius has to be replaced imo. Even in preseason training he can't catch a ball. Anyone seen that video? Embarrassing state of affairs. Anyone but that donkey for me.
That's what really pisses me off, not just about LFC but all the big clubs, they'll spend daft money in fees and wages for overhyped foreigners when there's a wealth of talent already on these shores. Oversight, laziness and wealth mean decent British players don't get a chance to reach the top, and youth/U23 teams are a waste of time unless there's a stream of them coming through the ranks.
8th august bid. be in there with spurs in the bargain aisle chasing after the almost out of date stuff.
I agree. I'm not basing my assessment of Alisson on his WC performance. If I was basing it on his appearance in the national team though, then keeping Ederson out must surely be an indicator that he's better than him. Is that not a good thing?
