Surprised Sky Sports picked any players who played before 1992 to be honest.

That's when football began, isn't it?

George Best & many more before you come to many in that list.

It’d make a good pub debate but most would agree with “Rooney. FFS”.

Of all the British players I would put Best second in that list, behind John Charles.

I suggest you look at what the post was about, Quill. Every player of the ones quoted had played at a World Cup Finals. It was about players who hadn't won one.

You don't need alcohol to enjoy yourself. Or so my wife keeps telling me. I just ignore her.

There's no doubting the young Everton star was heading in a 'World Class' trajectory, but at manchester united Rooney plateaued.

Probably never quite World Class, but not far off it, the amount of stuff (on the pitch) he did and won, makes him a bit better than ordinary.

He's been a bit scabby has Neymar. The Mexico coach criticised him as well for, amongst other things, the example he is giving to kids.

Still water off a ducks back to someone earning something like £1 per minute. He's not that good.

He's letting his country's legacy down.

Not fit to be mentioned as some of the greats of years gone by.

No wonder he’s always pretending to be hurt, he needs the injury time to afford diesel for his Ford Focus.

Nearly £240 a minute for a 40 hour week. No wonder he spends half the ****ers on a roll.
