Do what I did - google it. He never lost the dressing room according to the reports I read. He made some very odd team selections and substitutions. Look, I don't know I'm just writing what I've read. You've decided he lost the dressing room based on the results not what was actually written about him. I would have thought you'd be pleased he never lost the dressing room - bodes well for you <ok>

So he downed tools as I highlighted. Weird decisions, setup and subs. To follow on from @Tobes, that could point to losing the dressing room(as it’s believed Martinez did)

No player is going to come out and dish the dirt on a manager, could lead to his replacement thinking you are a problem at the club.

City fans are different.

They was getting 20k attendances in div 1 when chelsea and Bournemouth were in same league who got around 4k fans.

That's because Manchester is a big city with only one team. City have the city to themselves. Chelsea share London with a dozen other teams and Bournemouth arn't a very big town.

And before any wise guy tries to claim there are two teams in Manchester, I want to point out that I don't consider Bolton to be part of Manchester.

Whenever there's a dressing room fallout, something gets leaked from somebody. Can't find anything on this one - although I only did one google search <laugh>

Strange that some seem to want it to be that the players gave up on him, is that because another reason for the poor displays could be that he was tactically inept.

I'm quite happy with how well the money gets spread out in England. Keeps our league interesting whereby anyone can make decent signings and even the bottom clubs can beat the top ones on their day. Far better than other European leagues where apart from the top 3 or so clubs, it's boring as **** and there's very little hope of them being able to break the status quo.

Also helps our feeder club find the next crop of talent for us <whistle>
I agree.
The league needs its smaller clubs as much as the big ones. They help generate the income from TV and should get a fair whack from it.
Individual matches are still highly competitive even if the overall outcome of the league is more predictable. I don't want a league where we only have a handful of decent games and the rest are just routine.

I guess the next three seasons will show if that’s the case. I believe he downed tools and wanted the bigger job(more to do or bigger profile club, you decide)

Still wrong. His career average is 5th.

btw that's the same as Rodgers, who I believe the comparison was with, - although he left Reading one place above relegation and I'm not sure how to factor that in.
It’s not wrong, it’s 10th

2005 = 11th
2006 = 11th
2007 = 16th (relegated)
2008 = 4th

Dortmund:

2015 = 7th

Liverpool:

I make that an average of 5.9. Including the 1st season at Mainz where he took over late and including the high finishing positions after taking Mainz up.

Sorry you can't count the 14th finish at Mainz when he was only there for a handful of games that first season. His average is 5.4 rounded down to 5th. Which is what I said having done exactly what you did.

Don’t forget his meltdown season at Dortmund.
