He can be a very good effective player, something he proved the season before last. However, he was terrible the season before that and last season. Too moody imo

His fee makes Pickford almost a free.

 

You sold 4 players, bought 8, and still made a £7m profit

You're overpaying for garbage but that's more to do with poor players than large fees

So every transfer by a club that matters makes Pickford look almost free

 

West Ham don't matter. And Pickford was a free then if we are £7m up in transfer market

We've still got at least 2 first team players to bring in (hopefully Sigurdsson and Giroud), and probably a left sided CB as well.

So it's not time to be picking XI's for us yet.
