Meh. Why would we care what he's done in another league with another team?

Still wrong. His career average is 5th.

btw that's the same as Rodgers, who I believe the comparison was with, - although he left Reading one place above relegation and I'm not sure how to factor that in.

I'll never **** up like that again <laugh> At least I got two lovely daughters out of it. The youngest is only 25 miles away from that volcano that's just erupted. She's fine though. Only heard about it herself on the news <laugh>

Yeah. Read it on the Cheese thread. <ok>

I'd poke Riley even though she's a Manc (I don't know anything about the slapper bit). Not that she'd be interested in a dirty old man like me, of course.
    Unless I was rich.

The Premier League's leading clubs will seek a larger slice of international television cash at a summit this week, with Liverpool owner John Henry expressing irritation at the ongoing subsidising of lower-ranking teams. (@MailSport)

Completely agree - **** clubs like Burnley and Everton are benefiting from the global appeal of the big clubs.

Some of the sh!t clubs shouldn't jump on board and ride the cash train, which is an issue with this league at the moment and the whole parachute payments crap. However, we don't want this to be like La Liga, where the money is so disproportionate that the clubs at the bottom can barely afford to pay staff at times.

I'm quite happy with how well the money gets spread out in England. Keeps our league interesting whereby anyone can make decent signings and even the bottom clubs can beat the top ones on their day. Far better than other European leagues where apart from the top 3 or so clubs, it's boring as **** and there's very little hope of them being able to break the status quo.

Also helps our feeder club find the next crop of talent for us <whistle>

the whole reason the PL enjoys all the glamour it has is because we share the money out more equally.

the top 6 gap is embarrassing enough anyway.

if you give more money to the likes of who is higher/more popular, then either way you will lose out to United.

i'd prefer more of the money to be directed to the cups so clubs actually tried to compete in them rather than jumping on the pl gravy train
