Based on what.
He's played 80 times over the last 8 seasons. Hardly a number 1 keeper.
Good for us in the lower leagues, cracks were showing in the pl and dropped for the journeyman Matt duke.
Based on his performances for us Not now, talking at their peaks . Same as I wouldn't take present day waggy over Hernandez , tho I probably would take him over Keane

Hello Charon she finally come back after olm kicked his arse the other week.

Anyone who puts an international keeper who has been first choice in a pl team, a Scottish pl team and a Turkish pl team. With nearly 40 Scotland caps in the same bracket as eddie Blackburn, musselwhite, Duke and Steve Wilson is a weird ****.
Slim margins fella

The best and worst category, separated by the inbetweeners (that I've seen, off the top of me bounce)

The best: Norman, Myhill, Wealands Mannone, Eldin Jak.

The inbetweeners: Musslewhite, Marshall, McKechnie, Guzin, Carroll, McGregor, Stockdale, Duke, Blackburn, Bransholmes #1

The worst: Hesford, Swann, Basso

You're not far off Duffen's. Maybe Mannone for McGregor swap.

What category does Gulasci fit into?

McGregor is steady but seems to struggle getting down to low shots at times and can flap at set pieces. Not saying he is a crap keeper because that's not the case but he ain't in the same league as some of the names mentioned above. Marshall is a complete mystery to me and frustrates many fans. His arrival from Cardiff was heralded by many but once his confidence sank the mistakes soon followed and he lost his place.

Suppose your only going to get what you pay for eh.

it's hard to say who's the absolute best. From my time watching City

1,2,3 Myhill/McGregor/Norman - refuse to choose!
4. Mannone (shortish time with us)
5. The Jak (from zero to hero)

For me McGregor is No 1. Others were good but not in the top flight as long as him as our first choice.

All the names mentioned have faults, including McGregor and it’s a tough call.

On the one hand, McGregor is a good keeper of international class who has had a terrific season.

On the other hand, he didn’t get anywhere near the first team when City were last in the Premier League and was farmed our to the Championship.

was that one of the reasons we got relegated?

Farmed out? Think it was more to do with him coming back from serious injury and needing games.

Would you rather have McGregor or Flapupovic?
