Norman was the best one I have seen. Though Jeff Wealands was up there as well. Though I have no doubt even older fans would put Billy Bly at the top of the list.
Billy Bly was fearless...broke so many bones it's a wonder he ever played. Nicknamed 'Indian Rubber Man" due to his miraculous flexibility to change direction in flight. The ball was like iron in those days.
Yawn. Jeff wealands was better than Norman imho. Had that presence. But nah greegsy been NUmber one throughout his careeer. Top top career. Easily our greatest ever keeper.
I still and always have liked Ian McKechnie my favorite City player when I was a nipper. RIP. All those oranges. Also Roy Caroll was ok. He played 46 for us and 46 for Manchester United. Jeff Wealands was a great keeper though. Very difficult to pick the top one though. Remember Myhill for England? We have had some bloody good keepers in my time. Along with some absolute **** ones. I would be happy to see Myhill back. Same as Jak. From zero to hero in his last season.
The best and worst category, separated by the inbetweeners (that I've seen, off the top of me bounce) The best: Norman, Myhill, Wealands Mannone, Eldin Jak. The inbetweeners: Musslewhite, Marshall, McKechnie, Guzin, Carroll, McGregor, Stockdale, Duke, Blackburn, Bransholmes #1 The worst: Hesford, Swann, Basso
Hello Charon she finally come back after olm kicked his arse the other week. Anyone who puts an international keeper who has been first choice in a pl team, a Scottish pl team and a Turkish pl team. With nearly 40 Scotland caps in the same bracket as eddie Blackburn, musselwhite, Duke and Steve Wilson is a weird ****.
Lee Bracey, and kept getting sent off for handling the ball outside of the area. He was that bad Steve Wilson kept him out of the team.
