Who has been the better goalkeeper for Southampton this season

Carillo hasn’t shown me anything yet to suggests he is a hold up man. He is far too easily knocked off the ball. He has had lots of balls knocked in to him and no matter who is playing with him, he’s hardly ever held it which for a player if his physique is poor.
He’s never looked fit to me. Bulking up and getting half a yard faster would see him improve a lot, but whether he's a Premier League striker is another question.

Whether he is even championship is the question.. we will find out I guess :emoticon-0106-cryin

On Twitter anyway McCarthy seems to be the latest scapegoat, verging on pariah. On one hand not too surprising given the number of goals we have shipped, but I think the defence are so much more to blame and in fact without some great saves game after game from Alex we would've suffered even heavier defeats. He's still in better form than Fraser was leading up to losing his place in the team, McCarthy just needs more protection. I think he has done OK and I would still pick him.

Those are people who have clearly never watched football before.

Agreed, I must admit I haven't seen a goal go in where I have thought that McCarthy was to blame or should have saved that, unlike poor old Fraser where it was rare that I wasn't looking to the sky about his unwillingness to move off his line or dive so slowly that he resembled a tower block being taken down

I’ve seen a couple, but I wouldnt start throwing around negativity at McCarthy. He’s a keeper and you can always raise a question. He’s been good and gives me some confidence.

Don't know if this has been posted but this from K Billy's supersound (Saintsweb itk)

1)Forster along with others will be gone regardless of the league we are in.

2)Bring in funds/reduce wage, keep promises whilst moving out under performers. Re-invest and strengthen in certain positions that we have failed to do so im guessing gk rb cb and cf. Carillio should never have been signed club fkd up there. Incommings obviously do depend on what league we are in.
Most fans can pretty much draw a list of the likley outs but whilst we still have games to play i wont say who. (yes i know i've mentioned forster but he aint gonna play again unless of injury or suspension.)

Must be interesting times at the club. **** may not stick but when you're swimming in it it makes little difference. To have been guided from where we were 5 years ago to where we are now I would be astounded to see the senior management survive the summer. However, if the owner knew nothing about us 5 years ago - and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't - then our current predicament could be blamed on a bit of bad luck with everything from appointments through to referees.

Isn’t the Forster situation more due to being disruptive than performance?
