It's one of those films you can only ever really watch once. It's so sad.
Some of his other movies, like Only Yesterday and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, are also fantastic works. All of his work at Studio Ghibli with Hayao Miyazaki, whether being a director, writer or producer, was top class.
Nigel Eley, 41, the innocent motorist killed in the M62 accident Tuesday. In the wrong place at the wrong time. By all accounts a good guy, and youngsters footie coach. Quite humbling really, I was naffed off at the time, stuck in the traffic for 8 hours, but at least I got home that day.

Terrible tragedy this coach crash in Canada with this youth Ice hockey team, 15 dead, must be a nightmare for the parents. RIP all that perished.
Hockey is integral to life in Saskatchewan. The loss of so many lives in the Broncos' tragedy is a bit overwhelming and must have devastated the community. I cannot imagine the suffering being experienced and my heart goes out to the people of Humboldt.
