Though this was probably the expected outcome it's still disappointing . We have lost a good player and at a personal level for Ryan he cannot continue to play a sport he loves . My heart goes out to him and his family , it's such a sad outcome . We love you Ryan .
Why don't you file a complaint with the police then? That's all it takes. They can't do nowt without receiving a complaint.
Pochettino message to Ryan Mason. "He is and will always be special for me because he represents the change in all the process when we arrived at Tottenham... Don’t worry Ryan, you are going to be a successful person outside the pitch."
I think the long drawn out nature of him being helped to recovery kept the hopes alive, so it's harder when it's for nothing. Glad he's one person who gives us credit there, you can guarantee that nobody else outside of Hull will. Hull City are just a footnote to everyone else with this. And I'm sure Tottenham can afford to pay him some wages. You read what some at Tottenham said about his career and about how it was blighted by injury it makes me wonder if we yet again took on someone who just seems unlucky with his fitness. Obviously not Mason's fault what happened. The Allams got their money back by selling Clucas I guess to make us even weaker.
Sad to hear it, but not unexpected! I think he’ll take up coaching somewhere. Not with us. At least we won’t have those people defending the Allams in the next transfer window saying we still have Mason to come back & he’ll be like a new signing!
I would like to see a gesture of support organised for Ryan Mason at the next home match. Good chance to show the football world how we think about our players and how much they mean to supporters. Also it would also show Ryan Mason how gutted we were for the lad. Perhaps even Ehab and his Dad would turn up for that but I doubt it.
Maybe not the time, but does anyone know if we are insured? I assume we don't have to pay the rest of his wages? But the transfer fee etc is all lost?
A salute of whistles? Everybody seems to be too busy organising their protests sadly. Edit - not sadly that they’re protesting - just sadly that they’re happening ahead/at the same game.
Blimey. Respect. Didn't think I'd say that under the current ownership, unless they knew **** all about it of course. Maybe that new skirt is a positive influence for a change.
Just watched a Sky link where Ryan went to look at the VAR system with Laura Bassett. Just wandering if Ryan could be a top class referee? He's got age on his side and he's got the pedigree of having played the game at the very highest level. The game is crying out for someone to officiate who has at least played the game at a decent level.
