I think this is a good point and why I agree with NA and NC's approach of making sure the right player really is the right player before signing him.
We all know that it's nice living in the south, but, if you're young, London is quite a draw. It would be naive to think that young men make all decisions based on footballing considerations.
I'd imagine he's single. If he had a family, I'd expect him to consider this region much more. Aah, what am I doing..? I'm getting sucked into this bloody transfer talk..!
I just can't understand that... I know I'm not a young man (before Fran points that out) but when I was, I never fancied living in London.
First of all, imagine yourself not only young, but rich and shallow. You are now standing in a nightclub and a group of gorgeous girls are giving you the eye....continue.
I thought the same but then again i hate london, far too busy,no room to breathe! I suppose we also have to say that not every young man loves the limelight and loves to do what most young men do.
Not every man is like that though Fran, that's bit of a sexist remark. Also how do we know he is not married with kids? i know nothing about him.I do believe we have girls in southampton too
Ok Fran, I'm not rich, but I can do shallow and I really can't remember what the inside of a night club looks like. An as for gorgeous girls in a London night club??? .... Jen - imagine he could bump into Jen in a Southampton night club!
Perhaps we could send Jen out as a honeytrap...she could lure them onto the bus, slam the door, ring the bell and hey presto!
Latest tweet now is that we haven't even spoken to mk dons about Baldock, gotta love the transfer window!
He as an attitude and put on shed loads of weight last season. If he was worth a punt he would of been snapped up ages ago
That was a complete fail. Thought I would try quoting on the iPhone. I teehee to quite myself. I guess I failed as much as this silly rumour.
