Did think that but I don’t think he’s the vocal leader type.
Yeah, that's the only thing I wasn't sure about.

Adkins is the greasiest snake oil merchant of a manager I've ever seen at City
Sad times to be a City fan. Am praying we get sold soon and a new manager in, even if it takes relegation to clear all these people out of the clubThat's an insult to Snake Oil merchants.
Is Meyler due a bonus if he plays another game? I can't see why else he wouldn't feature in our current circumstances.
Assuming we stay up, and Bowen and Kamil go, next years XI still looks decent on paper:
Marshall
Moses
Mazuch
MacDonald
Kingsley
Weir
Toral / Henriksen
Stewart
Irvine
Campbell / Keane
Dicko
Even without any strengthening that’s easily good enough for mid-table. Makes our current plight all the more ridiculous. On paper I’d say it’s better than what we started the promotion season under Brown with!
Haven’t got a ****ing clue who captain is though. No obvious candidate at all. Mazuch?
I think Adkins throwing Macdonald under the bus was a shameful act, obviously he thinks this is a pro who he can belittle. I reckon him and Meyler have fallen out, can see Meyler telling him exactly what he thinks of him. Adkins is the greasiest snake oil merchant of a manager I've ever seen at City
What, indeed pal.Oh while we are at it. Bowen is obviously a talented player playing in a poor team, and that volley was sublime, but his first touch and lack of awareness really lets him down sometimes. First thing he does when he gets the ball at his feet is put his head down. What
I feel incredibly sorry for Max.
He isn't a left back and he isn't good enough, but who else do we have? People should direct their anger towards the owners for this not hammering a local lad doing his best.
Fair enough if he was very capable but just lazy or not fulfilling his potential - but he's working his socks off and wringing out all the ability he has, lets support the lad.
I love Meyler but last time he walked into a game he cost us the points. He must have glaucoma as he hasn't been able to pass to any of our players recently.
Still a bit puzzled as to why he(Adkins) decided to have a go MacDonald so publicly, yes he was poor, but so were several others, (strange he made no mention of Dawson's or Clarks part in Millwards first goal) set me wondering was "our Nigel" having a go at our phantom head of recruitment and was MacDonald not a player of his choosing , also at no part during his interview post match did he accept any blame for the performance that was served up, to be honest, i only think things are going to get worse before they get better.
I'm now of the firm opinion that they had a gigantic stroke of luck in getting Steve Bruce to come here, I realise that other football people at the club at that time played a major role in getting him, I also recall the old man stating, in a sickly joking manner, at how expensive he was shortly after he'd appointed him. History will state that he took us to the PL, to our first ever - and probably last - FA Cup final, and into Europe (yes I know).
Then the idiot son takes over. What we have now are no marks such as Darnborough and the like, appointed by the idiot offspring. We appoint our managers as head coaches because the idiot ehaw clearly sees himself as the one that's 'managing' the club. Great job he's doing!
We are only heading in one direction.
Maybe Max would be better suited to that midfield role Henriksen was supposed to play last night. I thought Clark did ok last night and he put in a couple of decent crosses. Unfortunately he was woefully exposed by a woeful ashamedly poor performance by Grosicki.
Don't think this team is easily good enough for mid-table. Apart from Moses they are all available now. I've not been to impressed with Kingsley, Weir, Henriksen, Stewart or Keane. Campbell I like but is injury prone, Dicko great runner and worker but needs to add more goals to his game. We would need to add half a team to this lot otherwise another struggle.Assuming we stay up, and Bowen and Kamil go, next years XI still looks decent on paper:

May I also ask whose idea was it to leave Dawson back at corners? Was it meant to outwit Millwall, unbelievable.
