Of course ....proper training includes the fact that most peelers accuracy goes down to at best 30% shots fired to target in situation.

Knowing that would maybe make anyone that's not a nutbag pause in a confined situation with a guy probably willing to die with superior firepower and multiple friendlies surrounding him.

He obviously froze at the prospect of taking on a guy who he knew was firing a semi automatic rifle and he had a pistol. He’d have drawn fire and likely been shot, but maybe would have saved some of the kids lives in the process or he could have got a lucky shot from distance. We’ll never know......yes he failed in his duty to try and protect, but that doesn’t make him a coward and Trump the 5x draft dodger knows all about cowardice, the hypocritical shed head.

you are right. it requires a very cool head to not just make the situation worse

I've learned a lot of facts about this whole thing.


*The security guard was not alone and was actually a deputy of the sheriff's department. Not some civilian in a guard uniform!
* There was 3 other armed sheriff county deputies with him outside the school as the shooting went on, hiding behind a cars while the shooting was going on. 4 ****ing armed uniformed deputies!! They waited for another police department to show up before going in.
*The Sheriff's department was told in September 2017 that this guy could be a school shooter in the making, they never wrote up a report.
*Police were called out to Cruz home over 30 times before the shooting
*A relative of Cruz called police and told them to take his guns long before the shooting.
*The FBI were tipped off about him (separate from the report about his youtube comment) and did nothing

Those deputies were COWARDS

It was a failing of authorities on every level (the gun debate is separate to this)

one of the worst law enforcement failures ever.

Aye, but I think there was a few vital minutes at the start of the attack when he was on his own, and he didn’t engage. I agree on the overall failings of their system / authorities though, the kid should have been hauled in and had his weapons confiscated surely?

Yep, when a relative calls and says my nephew is mentally ill, please take his assault rifle, you'd think police would act/

The guy, a deputy, was with three other deputies, he was not alone, 4 of them hid outside while the shooter went about his killing
 
Put yourself in this position Tobes

You are outside the school with three other armed officers, you are all trained in the use of your weapon and scenarios like this, and shots are being fired in the school, what would you do?

Mad scenario when you think about it. 23 calls saying he was unhinged and zero action, there’s your issue Trump, you massive tit.

I’d read that about the 4 of them, but that other 3 arrived a few minutes after it kicked off, not that it makes a deal of difference, as they all did **** all, it took the SWAT team to go and actively try and engage.

Trump's a reactionary clown driven by much emotion (one of the reasons I don't fancy him at all mate)

The tapes show they were there for several minutes while the shooting went on.

I get a security guard crapping himself, I really do, but 4 officers, that is complete cowardice
 
In not going in you are putting possible risk to you, ahead of certain risk to children, when you swore an oath to protect them

personally id have gone and took it if it were my nephew and handed it in or broken it.

its all coulda shoulda now. its what are people doing now today as there has to be more like this waiting to happen.

people need to make a difference now for tomorrow
 
We are not saying that anyone could do the job of being an armed security guard, a sheriff or any similar job. But he has chosen to do this job, been trained and was being paid to do this. He is trusted by people around him, his community to do this. Yet when he was truly needed he did not carry out this fundamental task.

Sorry, that is gross negligence. In the military he’ll probably be court martialled.

his life is now ruined.

the other deputys wont be far behind and eventually someone will question if they were ordered to wait for swat and the sherrif will go too.
