The trouble is not owning our own ground makes us an unattractive proposition compared to others. More attractive in the PL due to the money flowing in but still less attractive than a similarly sized club in the PL with their own ground.
The future looks bleak.

Man Hunter show what happens when you get a proactive switched on council who own the stadium and surrounding land, and wealthy intelligent investors.

Dawson and Hector have been absolutely horrendous this season. But I put that down to the full backs and what’s in front of them.

If you keep turning over 10-15 players a year not telling the best ones if your signing them on a contarct or not, then they subsequently leave you have a massive problem. And that’s what’s happened for 3 years. No player wants to be here, we can’t sign anyone of any note as agents and players know it’s a sh1tstorm and boy wonder won’t spend any money.

Likewise with the manager, we end up with the level that we are. When we where looking prosperous and wanting to go somewhere we got Bruce who at the time was a coup. Don’t underestimate how Bruce controlled the Allams and kept peace, he and and Mr Chapman essentially ran the football club.

Now there’s only two men in charge, and there taking every single last penny out the football club that they are owed, and in a sick way they love to see us suffer.

Protest the hell out of what’s happening, because if we don’t go down this year it will be next or the year after. We are a sitting duck till these lot go.

The one thing I used to say was the old man let Steve Bruce get on and run footballing matters, and we succeeded. Bruce wasn't perfect, but he did a great job for us. Then Ehab decided he knew better than Bruce and wanted to control everything, Bruce jumps ships and the rest is history.

It's what happens when you have the majority of the squad knowing they won't be here next season.

No fight. Most of them don't give a ****. And that blame lies squarely with the owners and their short sighted, cost-cutting approach to contracts.

Even the leader on the pitch doesn't want to be here.

The only thing that can possibly save us are the other teams in this relegation scrap that don't seem to want to stay up !
100% this. There was a lot of our play last night at 90%, going through the motions. The heart and desire was missing. We played on muscle memory.

We’re not currently a League One club and a club at the bottom of the Championship, in a ground they don’t own, has just been bought by a bloke who wanted to buy us.

I was replying to someone who mentioned about a League 1 club being bought. But feel to rush in.

I thought Sunderland were bottom,of the Championship. Did you mean a club near the bottom of the Championship?

Yes, I'm bothered if we go down and so are thousands of other people still. That's what being a football supporter is mainly about isn't it, although I agree that new ownership feels even more important just at the moment. But I still also maintain we are more likely to be bought as a Championship club than as a League One Club.

Except, last season the thinking was more likely to be bought as a prem club than as a championship club.

Would you buy City or Sunderland? Could become City or North Ferriby.

Not by me, I argued the point consistently that we were far less likely to be sold once a huge income increase and parachute payments were guaranteed again.

Why would someone suddenly sell a business when it’s guaranteed - no matter how poorly it is run - to become the most profitable it ever has in its history? You don’t get that guarantee in any other business.

In a perverse way I'd love to hear NA put a positive spin on relegation.

Well Nigel City are in league one next season..

Yeah, but we'll be in the first round of the FA Cup.
Just think of the new grounds to visit. Think of the ticks.
Luton always bring a few

You weren't the only one <ok>

A league 1 club renting a ground like ours with all its maintenance costs is not good, but we don't have to worry because the Allams can and will pile all the debt onto the SMC and eventually throw it all back to the HCC.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if someone came forward to buy the club and the Council sold them the Stadium also. Imagine the indignation of the Allams.

Us Burton, Barnsley and Sunderland are at the bottom of the Championship.

Did you mean something other than 'But feel to rush in'?
