Tim Vickery was just on the radio - and said he rates Carrillo and thinks he will do well here in England, especially as the focal point of the Saints team.

For what it's worth, Tim said he didn't think Gaston Ramirez would work out in the Premier League.

Tim Vickery's word is pretty much gospel when it comes to South American football (and all football for that matter). The mans a legend.

It's those foreigners - they never have been good at spelling. Don't worry, they'll get it right (with a "J") when they print it on his shirt.

Unless he's one of those poncey players who insists on having their first name instead, in which case it will say "Geedo", of course

Slightly annoys me that Dele Alli does that. I BET it's because he thinks it looks a bit like "Pele" too.

Quite a few do it don't they? Virgil and Cedric off the top of my head. Obviously the Brazilians as well, but that is slightly different

Very much knows his stuff with South American footy.

That's not to say he'll be right 100% of the time but he's worth listening too.

Best video I've seen of his goals.

No ****ty music, lots of goals - I think all 42 for Estudiantes, some under MP - and lots of great GOOOLLLLLL commentary.

My first reaction to watching those goals is that he seems to be a faster and more skilful Charlie Austin.
Pretty much every goal was the type of goal Chaz scores, being in the right place at the right time when the ball pinballs around the box, following shots in to pick up rebounds and plenty of headers.
I like the look of him, based on that video.
