I can't believe how much the kid has matured in his whole game, within such a short period. No more rash tackles, simply passing, good runs, ability to play good diagonal balls.

His style of play made him a bit of a fan fav for a while, what he lacked in ability he made up for in determination. Once Klopp arrived it was clear he didn't want him.
His loan spell didn't go well and he can't get near the team now.
He isn't a great defender and not great going forward, he may get into some PL teams but not at the top end.
Flanno was never reliable. People mistake putting in heavy Challenges with being good defensively. For someone who couldn’t attack or venture forward, he was often beaten down his flank - hence why he was the most dribbled past defender in the league.

To be fair, he could have developed into someone reliable but he suffered some big injuries.

Being pedantic like ... some called him the scouse Cafu. Cafu called him the red Cafu.
Anyway not sure where you're going with the thread link. He came back from injury and looked good - I remember the cheers when he tackled Sterling - but that's as maybe, we're all incensed with the assault on his girlfriend which has nothing to do with his footballing ability or lack thereof
