Nigel Adkins was pleased to see Fraizer Campbell, Evandro and Will Keane join in with training on Thursday morning.
The trio, along with youngster Tyler Hamilton, were added to the main group as they continue their recovery from injury.
And although Keane won’t be considered for first team selection in the immediate future after almost 14 months out with a serious knee problem, Campbell and Evandro could have some part to play as the Tigers prepare to face Fulham and then Bolton Wanderers in the space of three days.
“It was nice to see Fraizer, Evandro and Will Keane join in with training today, and Tyler Hamilton as well,” said Adkins.
“Obviously from Will’s point of view he won’t be considered for the weekend, but it was great to see a centre forward with the physical prowess that he’s got. He’s been out for a long time, so it’s great that he’s now back involved with the first team group and over the next month we hope to progress him in training and with game time for the Under 23s.
“It’s a bit early to say whether Fraizer and Evandro will be involved this Saturday. We’ve got two games close together and it’s brilliant that they are both on the training ground. Fingers crossed, we can get them there or thereabouts to come into consideration to play some part in the games.”
