The focus on getting the guidelines was, for me, to see what they actually said
The fact they didn’t immediately release them suggests they included ****ty guidance about not using the word City.
The fact that after asking the committee to review them, but then not sharing them with the committee when asked, suggests that a) they couldn’t be arsed to review them quickly and b) they’re not arsed about the committee or it’s members
I would be amazed if any guidelines were released - just snippets when requested, as in the case of the OSC. I see no benefit in receiving them when we can see their idea of branding on a daily basis; it's pointless.
It's no secret, either, that they are not arsed about supporters, so those on the committee shouldn't expect to much, if anything at all. Will these supporters be invited to another meeting before the February members are selected? Probably not.
Here's the question: what does this dialogue achieve for (a) the supporters who attend (b) the club?
