Pellegrino in or out?

Hey all these guys changing their mind is going to take away our chances of saying....”I told you so” rotten lot.....<laugh>

I voted for "he should never have been appointed" option! A 4-1 win against a crap team followed by a decent performance against a good one is the footballing equivalent of a spring-time swallow in my view.

If he has now discovered that with an army of centre backs available playing 3 at the back makes sense and that in Sofiane Boufal he has a player who can change games then great. If we now go on to win the FA Cup and finish in the top 6 I'll be convinced we did the right thing in sacking Puel and bringing in this guy.

That's not to say we should be sacking him. It would only exacerbate the original **** up.

I didn’t realise this was a rolling poll..... seems a bit daft that. At that moment in time I voted based on whether I thought he was the right man and stated that I always advocate giving someone a chance. I didn’t think he was the right man at that time.

Seems a little pointless people physically changing their vote after a win or a very good perform on the same poll. When we look back in 12 months time it won’t be representative of how the fans were feeling.

To be more representative a new poll or thread saying “how do you feel now” would be better.

I never voted because it was too soon and I couldn't see a benefit in changing a manager mid-season then desperately looking for a replacement (especially bearing in mind how many other sides were doing that very thing). I wasn't happy with MP2 at the time (who could be), but am happier now.....but this is only 2 games down the line. I am hopeful that results will pick up because we have quality in the side....we just weren't getting the results to reflect it. We are now reverting to the mean....and that is midtable or slightly above. Some stability and the manager being backed could see us higher in future seasons.

Bloody scientists coming on here and getting all statistical on us. I would be happy if we could find the mean in terms of a mean defence and a mean ruthless attack! Boom boom. (No foxes were injured in the writing of this post)

We've always had a mean defence....but letting in the odd goal is disastrous without strikers scoring. Perhaps we've turned a corner with team confidence after proving we can score goals. Heads dropped at Liverpool....that should never happen...hopefully that will be the catalyst for the future....starting with Bournemouth.

I was actually thinking that this rolling poll thing is brilliant. The highest I saw it was an 82% disapproval rating, its going to be fascinating to see the shifts over the next few games. Already we have 6% shift back in MP2's favour, its a realtime reflection of out dissatisfaction!

So 74% still want him gone?

Note to board; don't listen to the fans. Ever.

I haven't voted yet. I'll wait til the end of the season, if this poll is still active.
