Me too, he is sort of the opposite Nigel Pearson, but find his interviews equally irritating.
Irritating just about sums his interviews up - the sickening scouse accent and his calling of supporters "speccies" really grates with me. Let me be the first ..... 'Adkins out'!
Should have brought in some steady league one/ lower championship solid types , not wait around to see what scraps his chum would throw us at last minuteI hope Leo doesn't get the chop. Our defence is a joke but I like what he's trying to build and it's going to take time, we can be great with the ball.
Promotion is out of the question regardless of who our manager is so we might as well give him that time to see if it works. If it does I think with the addition of a proper defence we will be an incredible team.
What he needs are some defenders. Michael Dawson has become an absolute liability, the only full back we have at the club has been injured for two years. If recruitment was purely down to him then maybe it's deserved but I don't think it was and I don't think it is.

Or are the dastardly duo trying to engineer a resignation and no compo? Slutsky is a decent man, and may find the behind the scenes machinations too much to bear. It's probably a classic case of managing someone out of the building by the Allams -- pushing for a Bruce-style resignation. If that's the case, I hope Sluts plays them at their own game and refuses to budge.Any white smoke coming out of Allam Towers yet?
Or is this yet another fake news story to come out of the KCom...We've been sold a couple of times, been keeping Silva, then we haven't been sold and we haven't been keeping Silva..Its looks like bull$hit and probably smells like bull$hit
If he goes what are we gonna do about a decent stream? The Russians will f’ck off and last nights was spot on.
I really don't understand clubs who do this, West Brom did the exact same thing. He should have gone after the Sheff Utd debacle.
Given the new manager the international break to bed in.
We have a defence which has three inexperienced young players in it, is it just a coincidene that Dawsons form has wained this season as he has to baby sit them..Yes, of course the squad is weaker than previous years. But those squads you mentioned were either in the PL or the top of the champ. This squad should be at least midtable
I think a lot of faith is being placed on the return of Moses, and Mason too. Neither have played for donkey's years, both have had serious injuries such that one (Moses) is quite likely to have lost some pace, and both, if/when they play again, might easily have lost some bottle. I think we need to wait and see then reassess.Moses and Abel are a massive loss to us! ( mason I’m not so sure ) but everyone must be in agreement that with these lads in the team we’d be up there?
you're right about Meyler being hit and miss - he hits the ball and it misses its target - earlier in the season, Slutsky didn't fancy playing Meyler but the crowd bayed for his inclusion, apparently first name on the team sheet - I will criticise him totally for reacting to such 'popular opinion' - Forest 3 2, Boro 3 1, Sheff U 4 1, he didn't start against Barnsley 1 0 and he didn't start against Ipswich, 2 1 when he appeared and in his 9 minutes they equalised and he didn't start last night 0 0 - he has one of the worst pass success rates in the division - our midfield was much better last night and with Evandro and Larsson coming back I suspect he'll be keeping the bench warm for some time
as a separate point whatever happened to Campbell last night - shocking performance
I get your point! Let’s see eh?I think a lot of faith is being placed on the return of Moses, and Mason too.
