I hope Leo doesn't get the chop. Our defence is a joke but I like what he's trying to build and it's going to take time, we can be great with the ball.
Promotion is out of the question regardless of who our manager is so we might as well give him that time to see if it works. If it does I think with the addition of a proper defence we will be an incredible team.
What he needs are some defenders. Michael Dawson has become an absolute liability, the only full back we have at the club has been injured for two years. If recruitment was purely down to him then maybe it's deserved but I don't think it was and I don't think it is.

Irritating just about sums his interviews up - the sickening scouse accent and his calling of supporters "speccies" really grates with me. Let me be the first ..... 'Adkins out'!
That's an easy one to solve....don't listen to his interviews.
I used to switch off when Nigel P was interviewed.
Got in the car after a game when Adkins was in charge at Scunny.
The interview started as we lef the car park and he was still talking when we got back to Cottingham.

Should have brought in some steady league one/ lower championship solid types , not wait around to see what scraps his chum would throw us at last minute
Hence the comment about who decided what.

Or are the dastardly duo trying to engineer a resignation and no compo? Slutsky is a decent man, and may find the behind the scenes machinations too much to bear. It's probably a classic case of managing someone out of the building by the Allams -- pushing for a Bruce-style resignation. If that's the case, I hope Sluts plays them at their own game and refuses to budge.

The point is though that the Allams both last season and this have been employing people who haven't demanded much, who are willing to oversee significant downgrades.
If he goes what are we gonna do about a decent stream? The Russians will f’ck off and last nights was spot on.
I really don't understand clubs who do this, West Brom did the exact same thing.
We have a defence which has three inexperienced young players in it, is it just a coincidene that Dawsons form has wained this season as he has to baby sit them..
Moses and Abel are a massive loss to us! ( mason I’m not so sure ) but everyone must be in agreement that with these lads in the team we’d be up there?
I think a lot of faith is being placed on the return of Moses, and Mason too. Neither have played for donkey's years, both have had serious injuries such that one (Moses) is quite likely to have lost some pace, and both, if/when they play again, might easily have lost some bottle. I think we need to wait and see then reassess.
