He's supposedly keen, far more money himself, more to spend on the squad, a better squad and he lives closer to us. It'd be a natural progression if he has ambitions of being a manager of a club that competes in Europe regularly.
Shame for Craig. He gave us the best game at the King Power I've ever witnessed when we beat Sevilla. Ultimately he wasn't cut out for the job, although he's had **** all help from the directors regarding the Silva cock up and letting our best midfielder leave with 20 minutes to go on deadline day.
I think it was Ian Wright that recently said that he wanted him to be Arsenal's next manager.
No doubt it would be a good move for him financially in the short term and he'd get a better squad to work with, but as he'll be lucky to last a year, it's not necessarily a good move for him.
