Rooney would have been a better player had he stayed off the beer and pies but he lacks the discipline of a truly great player. Is it so much to ask that you keep yourself in peak physical condition when you're being paid a million quid every month to play football? I never forgave the fat bastard after he scolded England supporters for booing the team after their abject performance against Algeria at the 2010 WC.
Indeed, compare his physical condition to that of Ronaldo. You'd never believe there was just 8 months between them.

There's plenty others been done for drinking under the influence, there's plenty more done it & not been caught. He'll pay his dues & move on probably not giving a single, never mind two, ****s about what any of the squeaky clean sanctimonious ****s on here, or anywhere else, think.
I've never drunk drove. I think it's disgusting.

I don't understand the distinction. Unless your drink was spiked how could you not know you were over the limit?

Probably, as could, maybe, Kirsty Gallagher stopped, over the limit, a couple of weeks back on her way to collect her kids.
Don't think that made Sky News but most reports focussed on her poor ordeal of having to spend time in custody.
You'd still know you were over the limit.
If you don't know the rules you shouldn't be driving.
Because of how long it takes for each unit of alcohol to wear off after drinking it.
Is that the same for everyone & the same every time? Is it dependant on whether you have eaten with the alcohol? Does your body mass & metabolism affect the time your body takes to break down the alcohol?
You cannot be 100% sure.
