Drinkwater and Kante make a very good combination ... as has been proven. Drinkwater may surprise a few now he'll be surrounded by real quality.

On another note, you have to feel just a bit sorry for Bod. Must be gutted to have contracted chlamydia from an inflatable sheep.

Huth and Morgan made a good combination for a season. I wouldn't want either of them at my club.

They will. They're not a top 6 club though. Very small time.

"You'll never walk......what's the next bit Nigel?"

So they finished in the top 6 last season, and you think they will this season, but you dont think they are a top 6 club?

Well, in terms of Bakayoko, I am not sure. The jury is out on him, he's only had a couple of games.
Morata has looked very good so far, but will he be as good as Costa? Again, remains to be seen.

I don't foresee HUGE improvements at all, if any. But again, it remains to be seen.

I'm talking about numbers though really, as Stan says you've got European football this season and you've got basically the same except with players which as you say, remains to be seen if they will offer the same quality.

They're not a top 6 club mate. Hank targets 7th to get his ££££. Anything above that is a bonus for his trophy wife.

I really dont think we need numbers just for the sake of it.
The CL is what, an extra 10 games in a season, IF you make it past the first knockout stage, if you cannot play 2 matches in a week as a professional athlete, then you need to check yourself.
We may get a few more injuries, I understand that, but I think we will be okay.

I really hope he does.
Still am not impressed by the signing at all though.

He had a terrific season the year we won the title without question ... but he was rather pants last tbf. Him and Kante 'on fire' together would mean that the opposition won't hold on to the ball for long enough to do much damage.

Just enjoying the ride Lieb :).

Supporting Chelsea is like a rollercoaster ups followed by downs. Better than being stuck on the teacups like arsenal.

How do you feel about Saints transfers?

Supporting Chelsea is full of ups and downs? <yikes>

You should try following Saints mate <laugh>

As our business, overall I'm happy, bit disappointed to not get a number 10 as we struggled to score goals last year but think Hoedt and Lemina will prove to be astute signings. Big positive that it's first summer we've not sold anyone we want to keep for the first time in years too.

So yeah pretty happy overall, but expect us to be in a lot of low scoring games again.

Wouldn't have wanted Vidic or Rio in their twilight years either tbf. Huth and Morgan were excellent in that season but even the most optimistic Leicester fan knew they would not be able to replicate the performances the next season - especially with more games.

Our 'team' was way better than Its' collective parts with the possible exception of Kante, Mahrez, Vardy and Schmeichel.

This ^

Anyone can see they were the driving forces behind that title win.
Its like Liverpool in 2014, Suarez was the spearhead, and everyone elses game was raised because of him. ( and they still managed to balls it up :emoticon-0136-giggl)

Those extra matches will take a toll on your body and the older players need more recovery time.

You would have had Vidic and Rio during their ten good years though! Huth and Morgan had one top class season.

Huth won the EPL with Chelsea too... which disproves your point ... on his day he is a formidable defender. Morgan is more of a journeyman but has a great heart.

Huth played in 23 out of 76 league games in winning two titles with Chelsea. He started 4 of them!

Good player but utterly ridiculous to draw any kind of comparison with Rio and Vidic.
