No you've misinterpreted dead in it's context. It means dead like "dead cool" "dead boring" or "dead obvious how we'll buy nobody"

To be fair "the line" was a blatant Pardism. When Pardew had to be Ashley's PR stoogde as well as the manager, our transfers were constantly thwarted by this notorious line.

Benitez just says how **** things really are, the line has made an appearance for a long while.
 
It's desperate behaviour from NUFC this window.
We are getting a name for being comical tyre kickers.
We have an inept clown who takes weeks to do a deal other clubs can do in a day in Charnley who's sole job it seems is to piss off selling clubs with derisory offers for players.
We've had ages to sort our **** out and the ****wits running our club haven't a ****ing clue.
I fully expect Rafa to go to Palace or West Ham soon and to be fair... I don't blame him.
What a ****ing ****house our joke of a club is.
 
Oh.. and with Gayle and Lazaar staying.... their morale will be rock bottom now which will further impact on their form and attitude.
It's like we've shipped them out.

The reason we won't sign any ****er lies in comments Rafa made to Martin Hardy.
When signing Matt Ritchie, Charnley rung him up and said "they said this much, now they're quoting this much"
Rafa said "a couple of million difference in order to get this player, it doesn't matter"
Says a lot about our dealings and was probably the last time Charnley actually heeded Rafa's advice.
 
I didn't expect much, but absolutely fcking nothing?? I mean, not even a mention on the Beeb's feed and all signs pointing to yet another Summer of **** from our eternal misery-deliverer, Mr. Lee "****" Charnley.

All I've seen is someone on this thread claiming we won't pay a loan fee for Matt Targett (whoooooooooo?!) and that the deal for Lazaar is dead. Oh and the most recent update is Everton have taken Lucas Perez leaving us relying on a plan b our illustrious MD simply doesn't have.

Can anyone explain to me the ****ing point of getting promoted???? Seriously, what's the ****ing point? So we can scrabble around the bargain bin awaiting ****ing relegation?
