When signing Matt Ritchie, Charnley rung him up and said "they said this much, now they're quoting this much" Rafa said "a couple of million difference in order to get this player, it doesn't matter" Says a lot about our dealings and was probably the last time Charnley actually heeded Rafa's advice.
