Some other changes;
Pawel Wszolek replaces Steven Caulker.
Yeni N'Gbakoto replaces Conor Washington.

At least it looks like we are trying to have a go.

We should have got a second in the last minute, but...
Overall we played a good match, especially in the first half, but ...
We were outplayed in just one period of the game (45-55), but ...

Not a lot of football played today, two ugly sides, they scored two, nothing in it. Caulker not fit, gave away first goal, **** back pass, smithies smacked against toillet in the back of the net, well on top at that point. Now the long coach journey back from yer boyo

So far this season (and obviously I've not seen us live) it seems we have temperament and 80% ability and have given it a good go. The missing element seems to be a consistently strong defence plus a striker who needs the one chance to score, and not half a dozen chances. Oh for Charlie Austin.

Up to now I have to say we are exceeding my expectations

I thought it was Ned with the **** back pass?

Just seen highlights bad defending for both goals, had good chance to equalise at end, disappointing

At the services now so not quite a just back.

Second half was really poor and we deserved to lose by more. Still we lumped it in the box a few times at the end and how Yeni didn't score I don't know (apart from the fact he's useless).

Smithies- 8- obviously ****ed up for the first goal but made two outstanding saves.

Furlong - 6.5- harshly booked but felt he did well overall against decent wingers

Caulker- 1- a generous one for this waste of space

Onuoha- 7- solid in spite of Caulker

Bidwell- 6 - meh

Luongo- 5- poor by his standards and lost 50-50s which is unlike him

Scowen - 8- MOM for us.

Freeman- 7- disappeared second half but the cross for Smith was on the money

Mackie - 5-harsh maybe but he did very little.

Wash- 3- first touch was awful. Fed on scraps but was really poor

Smith- 6- despite the goal, otherwise caused little to no trouble to shaky defenders.

Subs- all crap.

Holloway- crap
