Yeah they do it all the time. It's ridiculous that the biggest sports news outlet can also own a bookies when they can influence so many people over betting on transfers
That is true and I agree with you but nobody forces you to bet on them. More money than sense people who go and bet on transfers. A guy walked into a Ladbrokes in Belfast when I was in and announced to the whole shop, "Right who wants to make some money? My dad and my brother are sitting with Wayne Rooney's dad and he's just told them that Wayne is DEFINITELY going to China. It's 6/4 now but it'll be much shorter tomorrow." He put a ****ing grand on it! Next day it was 1/3 but he ended up going to Everton
I haven't seen him since but I'll have to mention it next time I do.
