Good points but Spurs never achieved any of it overnight either. There's no doubt that they have invested well in their academy and they have a good coaching and manager set up but they've always backed their managers.
They had ambition though, your owner has none. I have no idea what he's doing in football really, he just seems like a rich, chubby mong.
Pretty much agree with that. He finally showed some ambition a couple of years ago and we spent the third most of any club in Europe. Unfortunately we had the wrong person buying them and the wrong person coaching them once they arrived. It's hard to know which was worst as some of them have gone on to do well elsewhere (ie Wijnaldum) so maybe they weren't all bad buys. From Ashley's point of view though it seems to be a case of 'been there, tried that' and it ended up in relegation. Now he is much less likely to do it again.
