Great work Brixton; if it can reach the right person in HQ it can't fail to impress; makes total sense. Thanks for all the hard work you've put into this. Sorry for delay in feedback, I've been offside for a few days.

I've informed them over on the Irish site Brix. Whether they'll come on board or not I do not know. There's plenty Irish R's on here to go ahead with anyway.

    Don Givens

Roller PM'd me earlier to suggest that we cc Don Givens when the letter goes to the club. Apparently he was Republic of Ireland Under 21 Coach for 10 years and must have helpful contacts both in Ireland and at the club...

Inke: Thank you. Great evidence and detail. Keep it coming. All material info will go into the letter.

Swords: It would be great for not606 if all the Irish Rangers would join us on here. But in any case, if you could make iQPR aware of what we're trying to do, the chances of a mass meet up in a central pub full of hoops with a big Rs match on TV at least gets closer to becoming a reality. Such event could also be publicised and perhaps end up in the official match day programme.

Corks: Within half hour or so mate.

Hi Brixton, I just replied to your private message. I think that it is good to go and don't see any reason that you shouldn't post it up here. Good job my friend. You will have to come over to Ireland for your holiers so we can stand you a pint of plain.

Seen your PM Ciarrai. Thanks for that and I'll put the final version of the letter up for final comments before sending.

As for me getting over to the land of the living, long overdue. Me London-born daughter in law goes over to see her dad in Luimneach (thought you'd like that!) - Ballingarry to be precise, south east of Bruff. If a trip to see the family just so happened to coincide with a meet up to watch a televised hoops match I guess you'd have to call it THE craic!

If that happened we could adjust matters by kitting the locals out in cheap blue and white hooped t-shirts!

    Agreed with Ciarrai!

As mentioned by another contRibutor before, we have been seeing more Sunderland, Ipswich and Reading shirts due to Quinn, Keane and Doyle. As Brixt quickly dedcued, I am a Corkman (well done Brixt!), although now in exile in Wexford. The number of Reading shirts gracing the streets of Wexford has grown over the years and, following Mick McCarthy's Wolves friendly with Wexford Youths, there are now a few Wex Wolves on the prowl!

This has all translated into revenue for these clubs. Let's not fool ourselves Lads - all Premiership clubs are interested in one thing........REVENUE!

Therefore, perhaps the only addition to your excellent letter Brixt could be indicating the potential for extra Euros out of the potential Irish QPR fan base.

My own young lad has actually ditched Man Utd and started supporting QPR this year - he made his own decision, no pressure from Dad! There's another 40 quid on a shirt for whoever's going to own us tomorrow!

totally agree corkeR, another prob is that lotto dont distribute to ireland that I'm aware of. I still get my shirts brought over by relatives. hopefully that'll change now that we're in the prem.

    Hi, first time here !
Another R's fan from the emerald isle who tries to get over 4/5 times a year.
As the user name suggests I'm from Mayo and I won't say anything about Kerry until after next Sunday !!
