Adam presumably has official contact with the club. Doubt they'd tell him the name of a target, but I can imagine they'd deny a false rumour. :( So it's back to watching the lawn grow....couldn't they just let us chew on it for a bit longer.

This was the most exciting thing for me yesterday. I was out all day yesterday in Telford watching the rain pouring down. I drove home in eager anticipation of seeing how my little seeelings had taken to my lawn.

It was really exciting to sit at the kitchen table, looking out the window and spotting how many new shoots of grass I could see. 3 weeks I've been waiting for decent rain while the local birdlife just pointed their wings at me laughing, whilst munching in my seeds. Now I hope to have some more rain and then a bit more sun so I can inspect each patch closely.

*I have an exciting life - thechap who told me it was an empty life now appears to be right

Although Adam is trustworthy,

Spanish media seem to think the deal will be done in a the coming days, with it being a loan with view to a permanent switch for €10m.

Not saying this to diss Adam, I like him as a journo and has gotten a lot right. But local journos weren't briefed to put it into the Twitter sphere when Pellegrino would be announced, or when Puel was going to be sacked. Maybe the club have decided to keep almost all info in house?

You should be fine if you used about 3x the amount of seed required....it should shoot up now. If you lie down on the wet ground you should just see the shoots coming through....go on, do it:emoticon-0136-giggl

Daytime its now 42-46 and although the buildings have air con - you still have to walk outside to the car or get from the car to a meeting - when the outside door opens its a little like opening the oven to check your Sunday Roast. You get this wave of super hot air wafting over and around you.

I've experienced a phenomenon in SW Spain called 'el levante', basically a hot wind that comes off the Sahara and blows across the straights of Gibralter. I don't know the temperature, but it's like having a hairdyer on full power pointed straight at your face. Unbearable, basically.

Suns out in London, few clouds still about too. It's delightful actually. Sometimes I love England.
