I also think Gomez, Sakho and/or Markovic would all fit in very nicely to our squad, should that sweeten the deal :).

Hate to see us lose a player of his talent but I think VVD is now damaged goods. Cannot see how he can remain Captain and stay in the changing room after his connivance with Klopp. If we got a sensible offer for him l would offload him because he can do more damage than good to us.

It's not about pandering to a players wants; it's about protecting the changing room and the team management.
 
on our transfer thread we are being linked with Tadic for £13-£15m .Have you heard similar & if so is this some sort of compo for tapping up being a bit obvious in our pursuit of VVD.:bandit:

Think it's paper talk personally.

Firstly, don't think he's good enough for where you want to be, or suits your style for that matter.

Secondly, can't see it being that price, not much more than what we paid for him 3 years ago and he signed a new contract last Summer.
 
I honestly can't believe Dusan has a release clause at that sort of price.

Seems a little short sighted from the club. Yes it's lower league, but to go to two clubs and earn player of the season two years in a row shows an impressive attitude. Could have easily of signed him for a couple more years, seen how he got on in the championship this season and then he would be a good age and experience to push for the first team or get a proper fee for the lad
