I agree mate. We still don't know if Klopp actually met him, in all likelihood he did just like Wenger must have met Suarez, you can't get to the point of agreeing terms with a player over the phone. I'm sad my club has been so amateur.

Just out of interest why must Wenger have met Suarez?

Are people losing their jobs over this incident behind the scenes at Liverpool btw?

Accepted, Cheers. No worries. You can see how upset I was that I thought someone may think that.

Hopefully the two reds realise that too.
If you're a football fan you know what those words mean to Liverpool fans. If as you claim the club issued an apology as an admission of guilt and as has been said on here that was unprecedented, how the heck can that draw a response from you of 'it's never your fault'? Fault was acknowledged immediately with the clubs statement surely, according to you. Your other inane example - some nonsense to do with Rodgers - was a poor attempt at back pedalling.

You know what you did, I know what you did, Sky knows what you did. I will leave you all to your whinge-fest. <ok>

For those of you who've tried to have a decent conversation back with me, thanks, appreciate it.

fatletiss don't bother replying, I won't be back to read it.

Says more about you mate

You know nothing about me. Shame you won't come back as there was a discussion taking place.

I refuse not to reply to something or someone that casts doubt on me as a person. You are wrong. Zero intent from me. Your choice not to accept that and really quite sad that you are so blinkered that you are 100% certain what a person you have never met or communicated with before has meant.

I now get what you're on about and that is utter bollox skarker. You and I have had loads of banter over the years but I've never had a dig about any sensitive sincere and I never will. People who do that are a disgrace. If you and the other chap think that about me you can **** right off. I'm a Saint fan not a United fan. This was 100% about Liverpool and players.

Really. **** off

Ok I apologise. My Bad.

If VVD still is with us, he needs to be stripped of the captaincy!
Don't like the way he didn't come to the Award Night....strange that he had some treatment to be done. If he was abroad and had a good excuse, I apologise....but feels like he had moved on and couldn't be arsed. If he stays and settles down, I suspect he will keep the captaincy to keep him sweet, but he doesn't deserve it. Please stay strong Saints.

You're not bad SL - I'm just clarifying that there was no sick dig from me.

After reading on I know there wasn't. So yeah I apologise.

The problem is being a Liverpool fan the amount of times people make sly comments is unbelievable. Unless you're a Liverpool fan you won't see this, and why would you?! But trust me most days on here someone slips in a pathetic jibe about Liverpool and blame.

I usually don't even say anything anymore as it's clear they're just after a bite, or they're bitter about Liverpool for some infantile reason.

I'm not sure why I automatically thought you'd aimed that comment as that, but yeah I know you didn't now so hopefully we can forget it.

Peace <ok>

I once referred to a defender as like a gorilla....meaning he was big and strong. Not being racist I never even considered that he was black and I wondered why I was being glared at. Easy to be misunderstood.

I believe a similar thing happened to Ron Atkinson one Champions League night v Monaco (only joking Fran, not suggesting the same)...

I think Saints have just reached the end of their tether. Always been a certain amount going on....after all, a club wants to know if there is even any point in progressing an offer at all...but it shouldn't go beyond an enquiry to the agent. I think big clubs (and Liverpool :)) are feeling too invincible...has to be checked.

Believe me I have begun to wonder how eager he was to get fit.

I thought at the time that a deal may have already been in place and the buying club didn't want him to risk injury to play in our last few ((essentially meaningless) games. That has proven wrong, but maybe VVD was thinking along those lines? All speculation of course and I don't really blame VVD for any of this really, it is how the transfer side of football works now, he has to act like this if he wants to have the best possible career he can.
