I'll lob a cat amongst the pigeons.

Bowen.

Nowhere near good enough.

Can't be arrised to start a new thread so I've placed my thoughts on this one.

All of our regular first team are on well over £10k a week and there was a reasonable likelihood of him being a regular first team player if he'd stayed.

And we wouldn't actually have had to pay him that anyway, he'd have accepted less.

As it is, he'll get more than that now signing for someone else.

For what it's worth I was chatting to an ex-PL Pro who has also played Championship, the guy has seen him and rates him. £7-10K to keep him is realistic and well worth the punt. We need to start doing more than talking big about our young'uns, in my opinion.

Must admit, he runs about a bit, but is there any end product - I can't remember him even looking like netting so far. Christ even Cullen scored the odd one.

I don't entirely disagree, but it's harsh to judge someone who's had such little game time. He's never had a run of games. Might be because he's **** mind.

the chance of him being premier league quality is incredibly low
he can probably forge a career in the lower leagues

which isin't to be that unexpected really

compare the players we have on our books to the conveyor belts other clubs do
