    Were discussing the issue on Sky....they did finish up by saying, 'We must make this clear, Southampton's position is that they don't want to sell Van Dyke.'

    Guess we are now seen as being a bit scary. <laugh>

    It's getting beyond ridiculous now. It's as though we're disappointed that the Liverpool move has fallen through and we're desperate to sell Virgil to anybody. Our next move, surely, is to loan him to Portsmouth to drive his value down to rock bottom!

    Shame if the Premier League let it slide. I was really hoping we'd screw Liverpooo over some more.

    I'm not sure that this doesn't happen all the time tbh. The big mistake by Liverpool was leaking that they had met and VVD verbally telling Klopp that Liverpool were his preferred choice, that is where the ammo came for Saints to accuse Liverpool of wrong doing.
