What do we have to say for people to realise that we don't care we don't want to sell and therefore we don't have to do anything?
It's getting beyond ridiculous now. It's as though we're disappointed that the Liverpool move has fallen through and we're desperate to sell Virgil to anybody. Our next move, surely, is to loan him to Portsmouth to drive his value down to rock bottom!

Shame if the Premier League let it slide. I was really hoping we'd screw Liverpooo over some more.

Hope we stand firm and reject any more advances from Liverpool.

Then he should have told him to keep well out of it and leave it to him...should never have let his client meet up with another club's manager directly.

I'm not sure that this doesn't happen all the time tbh. The big mistake by Liverpool was leaking that they had met and VVD verbally telling Klopp that Liverpool were his preferred choice, that is where the ammo came for Saints to accuse Liverpool of wrong doing.

So you're setting the price TLL.? Value and price have little in common. If Saints don't want to sell then VVD could be priced at £100M. £70M is perfectly reasonable.

No of course I'm not, if anything SF4L was setting a price by saying he won't go for less than 70...

No chance of him going for that imo, will be much closer to 50.

I was told in no uncertain terms to remove my "political" avatar during the referendum by this board's staff. I just noticed yours!!!

Man City set the bar for CB's last season when they paid £50 million for John Stones. By that reckoning, Virgil is worth £100 million+.

True but they paid the homegrown tax on him!

I think David Luiz's 50mil transfer was more the tipping point tbh

That is naughty from Chilco I have to say if you are indeed right and you are not allowed political avatars.
