It will be a disgrace if they don't pursue it. Liverpopol have basically admitted their guilt here. Surely there has to be punishment?
All I can say is... GOOD.!
I don't think there has been a single one of us on here who has been 100% happy with the way Liverpool have conducted their business with Saints since we returned to the Premier League. Over the seasons, I have found it remarkable how certain players have gone from being entirely happy, and in the centre of the squad, to overnight desperately wanting to go to Anfield to play [Once, maybe twice a season, I would have thought, was a perfectly adequate amount]. The Lallana's, Lambert's and Co... were all fine until they went on England duty. Then they came back subtly changed, and their attitudes slowly got worse and worse. And all this in mid-season outside any transfer windows. And these days it wouldn't surprise me if it is Lallana doing the initial tapping. Just as Gerrard and Carragher almost certainly did it before. I'd like to see an investigation into this, and as to whether anyone finds anything or not, it might just dissuade a few people from thinking that Saints are the usual soft touch.

They should be called Sweet FABecause it's a 2 tier league where the so called bigger clubs can do pretty much no wrong.
On the last day of the season with the John Terry farce, it became very clear quickly that Moyes knew, as did the players and refs, if anyone had profited from that financially by spot betting-which has since been proven, the FA should be all over it. Especially as the goalie got the sack in the FA cup for eating a pie...!
So what did the FA do....? Absolutely nothing.... announced it as no investigation the next day.
The FA.... our national joke governing body...!

I think your club wants to sell to City and we've got in the way, because we've gone and cocked it all up it gave you good reason to get rid of us. City will come calling at some point and you can name your price. If we had done this the right way and you had named your price I don't think we would have met it anyway.
Obviously any Saints fan wants him to stay, but when the apology came out I had to RE read it multiple times as I couldn't believe it. Thought all of it was posturing from either side, but appears Liverpool may have done something genuinely wrong. If it was Southampton doing this to someone I'd be just as mad!
I'm well pissed off, I rate VVD and now we have no chance of signing him. I think it was only a slim chance anyway.
You'd think that over the years we would have at least built a good business relationship with your club (if not with the fans) for us to tap up one of your players is beyond stupid.
