I was born in to it, but never gave religion a thought really...
**** off... I don't lie to protect the club, the truth it's Arsenal are a great team compared to the spuds lolThey don't fool no one but themselves mate. I don't do everything my faith asks of me, that's not for the want of trying though or due to the lack of respect and acknowledgement. Sometimes I can't help being carnal and instinctive though. Look at yourself, you lie out of your back teeth at times just to defend a Football Club Lolz

You can't make out as though that is not different to someone who has embraced the faith from actually gaining knowledge about it and familiarising themselves with the lifestyle. Whether you gave it a thought or not, there is no doubt you grew up with it in your life due to it being in your family and quite possibly community too.
Not really, I didn't mix much with my own community at all and lived a very western life style. I know it's not the same as a revert but I never came to the religion because of my connections at all, I floated with various religions before looking more in depth in to Islam and embracing fully. You can't make out as though that is not different to someone who has embraced the faith from actually gaining knowledge about it and familiarising themselves with the lifestyle. There are lot of things people use religion to justify knowing clearly it's wrong and not from the religion at all...FGM's cultural, but some people try to use religion to justify it. I think it's a separate issue, personally.
I see what you are saying but I don't agree
For me it was no different than for my Mrs who is a convert/revert.
Harder for me as I had to let go of the Sufi barelwi vibes
Wasn't Malala shot specifically because of her and her father's views on education?Political affiliations of families and also background of the families.
Have you ever wondered why malala is a spokeswoman and peace prize winner for women's rights/education supported by her father (a communist exile) and yet her own mother wore an Afghani burkha, couldn't read and walked behind her husband?
Similarly is hirsi disliked because of her anti Islam stance or is it more to do with her antagonist views? Eg netanyahu should win a Nobel peace prize etc
My point is its not black and white. Malalas old man uses gia daughter to advance his own agenda and its seen as women's lib. He was hated in Pakistan by the government well before she got shot
A big glass of Irn Bru and a Spliff Fam.
Apart from that..you know how it is...whatever the women fancy making, I'm having. My fave dish has got to be a plate of savoury rice with lamb though, salad, mint/coriander yoghurt and a big jug of water.
This is true, but it's also quite easy to find vague passages that could refer to a lot of things. There are lot of things people use religion to justify knowing clearly it's wrong and not from the religion at all...
Can't face that first thing brudda
That's iftari or was when I was living with mum and dad and that
Mrs is all about the white food

She was blogging for the BBC before it happened, wasn't she?
I don't know anything about her mother though, in all honesty.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali's disliked for a multitude of reasons.
It's mainly about her views on Islam and the people that she associates with, though.
Van Gogh's murder should've made that pretty clear.
What was the unofficial line?Depends if you want to take the official line or what was really happening with malala
Its actually more far ranging than her but also links into the whole Taliban against women's education too
Good job she's your Missus and not mine then. I'm partial to some Fish and Chips at least once during Ramadan
No maan no fish and chips, she only does the masala fish
I disagree, the onus is on the believers of what ever faith to seek and learn their religion, they verses from the Qur'an for instance are used to justify or used to beat muslims with by the media are clear in it's understanding, the difference being people don't read the verses before or after that particular verse but just that cherry picked one, if you see what I mean...This is true, but it's also quite easy to find vague passages that could refer to a lot of things.
People tend to find what they're looking for in a lot of religious texts.
Porridge mate, fruits, sandwiches and tea...sometimes some Asian stuff...

For instance the one about kill all non-muslims but they don't read the whole Suresh just the one verse.
