  5. I already told you that the 2004 San Fran Marathon had its usual course diverted due to a bomb-scare, such that the race could not proceed, as it would have, over the Golden Gate Bridge. Whether or not that had an impact on matters, I do not know.

The fact remains, that the IOW Marathon is far tougher than the San Fran Marathon.

I have checked on the USA Marathon register, and my name appears on it, against that event, in 2004. You have my word on that.

Oh yeah, I forgot that the year that you ran it they moved all the hills <laugh> That's convenient eh ?

Post up your name so that I can check to see whether you're bullshitting again <ok>

  11. I'm sure there were inclines - perhaps even some steep inclines for those who lack the requisite toughness to run these kinds of challenges. It might even be the case that given the fact I had already run both the IOW and Hastings events, that the San Fran, by comparison, wasn't as frightening as it might otherwise have been. I don't know - and I don't really care, tbh.

The fact remains that the San Fran was not as demanding for me as either of the other two events. No amount of pointless and ignorant scoffing on your part is going to change my opinion on that.

Sure mate. 'The race that all marathoners fear' was a 'breeze' for you because they moved the course away from the hills, despite the fact that the entire city is built on hills <rofl>

I love the way HIAG spent 2 weeks baking his humble pie for Piskie, and then just before he served him it, he rammed it in his own face <laugh>

  19. That isn't how it is, though, Tobias.

I posted a photo of my medal, and Pixie has bottled an apology.

The fact that I am not even surprised ought to tell you everything you need to know.
