^^^^^ rattled HIAG you should learn to quit whilst you're ahead mate. The San Francisco marathon is known as the 'Race that all Marathoners fear' precisely because of the hills, not because somebody saw some hills on the TV. It's not true that the route sticks to the bay area either. Whilst it takes in the Marina and North Beach area, it also goes through the Mission district, Haight Ashbury and the Golden gate park. It's one of the hilliest areas in SF and the Marathon has a 1600ft overall ascent. Even if they moved the route in 2004 as you claimed, there is nowhere in San Francisco that you can go and avoid hills, unless you simply stick to the Marina and Fisherman's Wharf area. I know, because I have been to SF. You seem to have been very adept at procuring a medal, without being very adept at understanding the topography of San Francisco. As for proving me wrong You have fallen into your own trap with that one. Because the only thing I pointed out was that nobody called Tyler ran that marathon. You then went off on one about providing evidence of your medal, nobody asked for it initially though. Feel free to prove me wrong about my claim though. I may accept an apology from you, or I might just call wum **** up every time you mention it.
I based my view on 2 things HIAG; 1. I've been to San Francisco 2. The marathon there is described as hilly by even experienced marathon runners, a quick google search shows this ffs. Anyway, you posted your medal, and I said fair play You've adjusted the focus so that it can't be read, but the student name and college are clearly not there. So unless you're saying you doctored your own certificate before posting a blurred pic on the net, I'm calling bullshit on that one
Here's a graphic of the route and elevation of the San Francisco marathon please log in to view this image I've been to San Francisco. And that area between the bay and areas like Haight are as hilly as ****. Hence why the marathon is called the 'race that all marathoners fear'
Yeah, that's how I remember part of it. I do not call that hilly. Check out the IOW Marathon and the Hastings Half Marathon (which I have run twice, in 2004 and 2008), for my definition of hilly. I was a pretty decent runner and I am a tough bastard. What I consider to be easy you may find tough. All that proves is that you are a bigger pussy than me. I cannot help that. As far as I can tell, you haven't run any of the races I have run, so I really cannot see that you have any right to challenge me on anything I tell you. Go and run those three races, and then come back and scoff about the San Fran Marathon being the hardest.
For ****s sake HIAG. Glad I missed all this at the weekend. The skepticism of your claim that you ran the SF Marathon was based on the fact that you claimed your name was Tyler, and as Piskie pointed out, no one called Tyler ran the SF marathon in 2004. You then admitted you had lied and your name wasn't Tyler anyway. I told you days ago, posting a picture of a medal would prove nothing, other than you have a 2004 marathon medal, and even if you did run the marathon, the fact that you have no ****ing clue as to the geography of SF, and that it took you two weeks to post the picture was always going to go against you. The certificate....the less said about that the better.....you bell end And my final point, which I was trying to impress upon you the other day, when every word that comes out of your mouth stinks to high heaven of bullshit, you cannot blame people being sceptical when you make claims like running the SF marathon, even if you did, all Piskie said was no one called Tyler ran that marathon. The fact that he made you find (or buy) a 2004 winners medal, then set up a photograph and upload it on to here proves nothing, other than you were forced to go through all that trouble just to try win points on an internet forum. Who's the WUM here? Mate, if you are a 50 year old lawyer, then I am a ****ing astronaut. If you are 50 odd years old, then I am 20 years younger than you. If, at your age, I spend my time having a love/hate to and fro with some unknown DUDE on a football forum, then I will ****ing kill myself. You behave like a kid mate.......
All I am going to tell you is that neither my name nor the name of my college is missing from my Cambridge University degree certificate. The purpose of my including the certificate in the photo was not to make any particular comment about by degree or to enter into any discussion with anyone about it; it was purely to link the notion of "Cambridge University degree" with "a pixie," Bambi, and "Mercedes" within the same photo as my San Fran Marathon medal, so that no one could deny that I had taken that photo. The collection of those items within the same photo was, if you like, my signature that the photo was taken by me, recently, and is unique to me. However, I can fully understand why my having included my Cambridge University degree in the photo is a massive problem for some of you, since it completely removes a certain rug from under your feet.
Only on the picture 'evidence' it clearly is Typical HIAG, you've tried to over the egg the custard by including a degree certificate that you've clearly printed off the net and forgot to add a name and college before placing it in a frame and blurring the text from view. ****ing lol mate.
No, you having a Cambridge University degree is a problem for us, because it doesn't run conducive with the fact that you are total ****ing melon headed gimp.
If you look very closely I'm sure you can just make out that it's a 3rd class without honours from Cambridge Agricultural College in Crap Rotation ... so it might just be genuine after all
****! You are more concerned about all of this than I am, Bods! I really couldn't give a rat's arse about any of it! I have said - time and time again, ad nauseum - that all anyone can know about anyone else on a forum such as this is what they are told. Whether you are told the truth or whether you are told lies, or a mixture of the two, it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. Choosing to believe in something you are told makes you as big a bell-end as choosing not to believe anything you are told. With me, posters choose to believe or disbelieve whatever suits their particular wum-agenda. That makes them bell-ends twice over! I couldn't give a toss if you believe what I tell you about myself or not, since it makes absolutely no difference to me either way. The Cambridge University degree is real, and it is mine. I cannot (and will not) provide any further explanation regarding it or its inclusion in the photo than I have already provided. Whether or not you choose to believe that it is a Cambridge University degree, and whether or not you choose to believe that it is my degree, that is entirely up to you. I do not care either way, for the very same reasons I have set out, above. No, you are wrong, here, and I must correct you. Pixie wants to deny my anything that (in his mind) is any kind of achievement. And there is a deep-seated psychological reason for it, and is something that I have been playing against him for several years. I clearly represent something to Pixie that he uses as a yardstick against which he measures his own fragile ego. Every single one of the elements that I included in that photo will have grated against the very core of Pixie - in fact, I included them for that very reason. I spent quite a while contemplating adding further elements, but I do not want to disclose my identity, and I am extremely conscious of the fact that the more I disclose of myself in photographic form the more chance I have of inadvertently disclosing my identity. You (and Pixie) might choose not to believe any of it, but it is not necessarily you whom I have in mind, when I write this. In any event, and despite the fact that Pixie knows absolutely nothing about me (other than what I have told him), I knew that the element that would disturb him the most was the sight, in that photo, of my Cambridge University degree; and I was proven right, as I always am. I would hope, Bodi, that from what I have written, above, you will have worked out for yourself who the Master wumster is, here. I think we have clearly established that no one knows anything about anyone, on this forum. Speculation is, therefore, pointless. Even the Bible records the fact that no one gets into Heaven unless he comes before God as a child. Therefore, being childlike is a blessing, not a curse.
A quick check reveals that the IOW marathon has a 813 ft total ascent Whilst the San Francisco marathon has a 1624 ft total ascent http://www.mapmyrun.com/us/san-francisco-ca/san-francisco-marathon-route-37004132 http://www.mapmyrun.com/sc/victoria...ers-isle-of-wight-road-maratho-route-10400170
