Erm, I have never claimed to know anything, or made judgements on the back of what we might, or might not have. I have said let the window take its course and lookat it again when it closes. Unless you can show me what facts I have assumed, I have to wonder why you make things up.

I think you know I totally agree, GLP. I like your udea of puting in some form of contractual clause. Could the PL / FA make it mandatory across the board for contracted players?

So it turns out that WHU have signed Snodgrass, a player that we're led to believe refused to play anymore for City.
Funny but there still talking about Payet on Talksport and him refusing to play for them and how you don't want a player like that anywhere near your club.

For the second time I've had to move a mountain of ****e out of this thread, once again it was down to Bengals, he's now been removed from this thread.
Something needs to be done, as at the moment a contract seems worthless. In the case of Snodgrass - he was happy to sign almost 3 years ago for a 4 year term. Fourth year being optional. If a decision comes down to selling a player, it should almost be solely down to the club.
Too much player power at the moment. Something needs to be done so there are consequences for the player. If he doesn't want to play, fine. His wages drop to an affordable level so he can play in the academy junior sides, or not at all.
Can't he just be removed permanently?
I suspect Snodders didn't like the way Silva is coaching, and realised his time was almost up. Refusing to train though is a real ****s trick. We showed against Man U we really didn't miss him as much as some claimed we would. He has the odd good free kick in him, which is obviously important given our goalscoring record, but recently I've thought him a little off his game, or slower or something just not quite right. 10m is good business for him. If WH think hes a good replacement for Payet, they're ****ed.
As Lambos said earlier in this thread, Silva is a god. He seems to be getting the players he wants, within any restrictions which are naturally imposed, and for me more importantly, he's getting existing players playing in such a way that none of us on here actually recognise them.
For the first time in as long as I can remember, I genuinely think we've got a properly gifted manager. The next few days of the window will be interesting, although I wish people would stop making posts that read like they think buying players is simply a case of nipping to Tesco and getting what you want.
