Do you not think it better if he bought them first?

Do you not think it would be a better idea to then sell the lesser player's than Jake?

Do you think it's advisable to sell our most consistent player so far this season. A player who can offer reliable cover at centre half, especially at a time when all 3 of our current centre halves are fresh from returning from injuries?

If you Trust Silva why would you advise selling a player when he has been open & clear that he needs players in rather than player's out?

If we get rid first hiw do you know the player he may bring in, to replace him, will be better & not a waste of money that could have instead been used to build our training facilities?

You have no clue & no logic. You spout so much "I know what I'm in about" **** you can't even keep up with yourself.

You'll be doing "Done deal, done deal" threads next.

Alot of space filling speculation there ben

God you are a bitter one aint you, did somebody disagree with you along the way haha

Lifes too short pal move on i have :)

Space filling speculation? Do you know the difference between questions & speculation?

They're questions asking you to substantiate your views whilst also highlighting how they contradict & show your views on another thread to be also wrong.

How about some answers?

I totally appreciate that
Personally and obviously people will disagree as shown, I think if we could get a specialist defensive midfielder as well as a rwb/winger in for a good price id cash in on jake

I see what you are saying Hutch but would only take this approach in May/June and not in January.

No.

At his own last count we had 15 players training. Losing anybody will weaken the squad. If we did buy Payet (I know it won't happen) & had to sell somebody surely Livermore wouldn't be the choice.

So selling Henriksen and bringing in a RB would weaken the squad? I know we need bodies in the squad but if one sale helps bring in a few then it has the potential to strengthen the squad. Let's all just wait and see what happens.

I was waiting. It's the tuthers who believe a few hours a day on FM makes them experts that need to rein it in.

Agree with all sentiment, I too think Snodgrass is priceless to us at present for his goals and set pieces, Livermore also for what he gives to the engine room. However, if Silva has to sell to buy, we know we are in dire need of a right back and pacey wingers and something has to give. If we could get anything near the figure mentioned for Livermore, it would be great business for a player we thought of having to write off a couple of years ago for nothing, and in an area where we have good cover, Hudd & Mason playing brilliant at the moment, long may it continue, Clucas also in that area.

I agree now is not the time for wholesale change for Marco's players, in a relegation battle we don't have time to allow players on mass to settle in, we just need a small tweak in particular areas. Also, if we didn't survive and dropped into Championship we probably wouldn't see Marco and his players for dust! I would have no issue with losing fringe players, Meyler, Bruce, etc to free up wages but the reality is they aren't going to generate the funds required for what we desperately need.

no room for sentiment in football.. they wouldnt show us any, .
as long as the money is reinvested in the team, and the Allams havent done anything to show that they wouldnt do that, I trust MS to get us up the table... we arent in a relegation fight... I think that we will pull away from it.
