That's what it looked like towards the end of last week when they only had block one on sale online, can only hope they were selling other blocks over the phone otherwise it's going to look horrific on tv again.

Yeah, when I checked online last week they were selling the "sell 2nd" block........now they are selling the "sell 1st" !!!

Really irritates me people how people use the owners as an excuse for not going to City games......work, no money, distance are all valid reasons......but the owners....really ?? !!

If I had adopted that attitude I would never have gone to a game in the last 40 years !!

You going then?

Allam tax.

Good one.

Another one of those bullshit twisted to **** things you come out with which I mentioned on the other thread.

Is it?

Look at the club's response when asked about it, it's slippery as ****.

If it was a discount, they'd just say so and they'd be praised for it.

I'm trying to just post a link there but the site automatically embeds it. Click it to see the replies.

They are the exact same prices West Ham paid in the last round. It's obviously how Man Utd like to do things.

I've seen people saying this and the exact opposite. You got a link?

This isn't the first time we've had an extra fee for non-members at an away game. Never seen it before this season though...

I'm not sure which games have had this in the past, but Man United and Arsenal definitely have different prices for members and non-members (at least in cup games).

See my post from 4 weeks ago:
Just done some digging.

The West Ham website seemed to only ever say prices starting from £37.

Dug around their forum and found this:

[QUOTE="some West Ham fan”] said:

Adults £38 £41 £46
18-20 Years-Old £28.50 £31.50 £36.50
16-17 Years-Old & Over-65s £19 £22 £27

East Stand
ST Holder Claret Member General Sale

So it seems that we are charging exactly the same as they did.

Isn't the non member fee a United thing that they do for all cup games? I assume they think they can't charge less to some away fans than their own for fear of backlash and rules prevent the vice-versa.

Good luck tommorow lads. Most of the media already looking forward to a United Liverpool final <doh>

Let's try ruin it for them eh <ok>

Man U gave their members a discount and extended the offer to us. Both clubs fans are paying the same price.

Unless you think Allam is taxing the Man U fans as well?

Not going to either leg.

Its my own personal boycott I havent done any cup games this season.

Away games against the the likes of Man U, and Liverpool dont give me the same feeling I get from going to the none GLAMOUR clubs also for some reason.

You get people from Hull only going to watch the opposition even people on TT sat in man u / liverpool shirts

You going then?

Yup I'll be there........I had the full set of excuses.......I have no money, I have to take the day off work, and its an 8 hour round trip from down south where I live !!

I only had the "**** owners" excuse left........but I have never played that card in 45 years, so not going to start now !!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I've called out a few today on Twitter for using no end of poor excuses/lies for not going, we are playing the biggest club in the World in the semi final of the League Cup, and people aren't going, we really do have pathetic supporters, the Wendies were right, we really are a tinpot club now.

Block 332 tomorrow.

Our first LC SF, not fussed whether it's Manchester or Mansfield, Old Trafford or Old Show Ground.
Still not fully digested Belle Vue 75 when we had 6,000 following us as we reached last 16, but ****ed it up.

I have never seen City play at old Trafford and won't tomorrow. Sorry state of affairs really but would rather spend my football money on the likes of Burnley, WBA, Bournemouth instead of giving them ****ers my cash. All that is wrong with football in one club.
