Silva knows exactly what's getting with him, he was a star player for him at Estoril, scoring 14 in 53 league games from midfield.

It's about time we had another Brazilian attacking midfielder. Geo :emoticon-0152-heart

So is he actually coming? Or just one of the names naturally being thrown up at the moment.

Hull City have completed the signing of Oumar Niasse.
According to Sky, the 26-year-old has agreed to join the Tigers for the rest of the season and end his Everton misery.
Since joining the Toffees for £13m from Lokomotiv Moscow last February, he has struggled to feature in the first team.
In fact he has only played five games for Everton and manager Ronald Koeman said the striker needs to leave the club to get regular games.

Was this with Estoril in the Portuguese 2nd Division, Ground Capacity 8000?
Love the name of one of their goalkeepers: Luis Carlos Gaspar Santos Ribeiro - maybe we should get him and let Papa Allam shorten his name to Ribeiro - that might appease him a little.

This is what HDM tweeted, it was quickly deleted by the looks of it.

Surely you don't get a Brazilian midfielder from Porto and a Senegalese striker from Everton mixed up especially as they have very different names. Perhaps they let something slip that they shouldn't have.

Must say I agree with Syd here. A few Evertonian mates really think he is utter utter ****e. Even his Youtube highlight reel looks ****e to be honest save for about 2 goals.
Dio looks a much better player to me.
I'm all for eating humble pie if i'm wrong but I'd steer well clear.
Is 100 minutes enough for them to make that call though? Personally I think that if Silva is happy to bring him here then I'm happy that he'll get a tune out of him.

We need a finisher! Niasse looks like he knows where the back of the net is! Dio couldn't finish his dinner let alone a chance on goal! He's been put through on goal a few times now and not converted one of them...apart from the Palace game which was the hardest of them all.
