It would amuse me greatly if we drew Manchester United. Going back to Accrington would be pretty cool.
As much as I enjoyed Accrington last season I have a recent poor record when we draw Lg2 club's away in the 4th round. Rochdale for me. Away of course. EDIT: Accrington, season before last, how time flies with the Allams at the helm. Doesn't feel like 24hrs ago to me. EDIT, EDIT. Think I may have been right first time.
Think last time we went it was their last home game. During the end of season pitch invasion a group of young lads made their way to us lot & pulled a group mooney at the City support. I thought it was funny as... Never tried the chippy.
At the risk of getting lumped on...... we need to be out of this competition... I hope we get Chelsea..
Or, if you look at it another way, the extra games could be a blessing in disguise. If we are bringing in new faces in Jan, these cup games may go some way towards bedding them in, getting game time in to others (U23's), and allowing Silva to get his tactics in to the heads of the team. (or maybe we'll just pick up loads of injuries and get relegated playing Huddlestone at CB! :-D )
