Seems to be no one at HCFC who understands football fans and their weird habits of attending with friends in the same part of the ground, week in week out, season in season out.

Instead they seem to think it's like going to the pictures or the theatre where you go in a random seat each time.
The KCOM feels less like home that it did 5 years ago and certainly less than 10 years ago. No sense of a 'home' let alone a ****ing fortress.

Thanks for that. I assumed that the poster I quoted was correct. So presumably they're charging us the same as the equivalent seats in the home end? I still don't get why there's an £8 difference between members and non-members for an away game though.

    It's obvious, ffs.

It's to punish all those who didn't sign up to Ehaw's brainchild.
"You didn't like my scheme? Well **** you then. Who's laughing now then eh?" type of thing.

Maybe to reward those who pay for the membership? You're not going to attract members if you don't give attractive benefits and a saving of £8 a ticket and I believe £8 on Tiger Travel is quite a good reward. Instead of looking at it as something bad for the non-members, look at it as something good for the members. They are looking after the week in-week out supporters, that's a good thing right?

The Allams don't "reward" fans for anything. So no.

No **** wanted the membership. We want as many people packing the KCOM as possible, not fleecing people. pricing them out. splitting them up, moving them, ripping them off, charging them for what they already had etc.
I would pay £8 NOT to go on Tiger Travel. It's a soulless miserable way to travel to a game, and to be used only in the most extreme or dire circumstances.

That's my question. Obviously it's one of those two possibilities, and the answer can only be found by looking at what Man U actually charge us. I've been too busy to look into it properly today, but someone on Twitter reckons that our 'member' prices are exactly the same as what West Ham paid for the quarter final, which if true tells us it's another Allam-tax.

    Just done some digging.

The West Ham website seemed to only ever say prices starting from £37.

Dug around their forum and found this:
So it seems that we are charging exactly the same as they did.

Hmmm. That would suggest Man U are the ones behind charging different prices for away teams' members and non-members. Why would they do that?

Because that's how they price their own tickets I'd guess. Perhaps they give the visiting time that option or charge everyone the higher price?

I don't disagree, but it's true to say that a fair few of those regulars failed to turn up for the last round.

Whilst its important to keep the 'week in, week out' supporters onside, they are not the ones you need to offer incentives to as they already attended regardless. The major focus should be on encouraging those that don't go every week to turn up more often and making them pay more is certainly not the way to go about it.

Sorry if its been answered but when home tickets are released is it a free for all or will my seat be held for a few days? Does it mean some scruffy displaced oik from Norff or Upper can nab my seat before me??
