TransPennine may do one- a 3 carriage job, but they need to get permission from the woman who opens the barriers at Oxmardyke and the elderly couple who operate the Broomfleet one for the late train back.

We got 32,000 tickets for our last Cup Semi Final just 2 years ago.

Ehab Allam 17/03/16 - 'I certainly wouldn't want to be sat with someone next to me who pays a fraction of the price'.

So why the price difference for members/non members?

I don't know the figures but a rough guess would be so they can charge extra for seats in the upper west. With members in the north and upper west having to find alternative seats I suspect the lower bowl will be pretty full. Non-members then get the best viewing seats in the house but have to pay slightly more.

    What a mess. Again.

It's almost like we're run by people who don't really know what they're doing and don't really know anything about football and don't really know anything at all and don't really just won't sell up and **** off.

Its only about money. I used to think it was about us and getting one over on us, but alas we're not that important. Its about maximising the income from the game. After all there are plenty of Hull reds to buy the more expensive seats.

I've put in my submission to the Planning Committee. Fingers crossed they make the right decision.

What a complete and utter shambles from both clubs.

How Man U think its appropriate to charge away fans that much, especially when home fans will be paying less is an absolute joke, they have ensured the away end will not be full. We should charge them the same for their visit, keeping the prices for home fans as they are, its only fair.

Hull City have managed to alienate two sets of season ticket holders at once, the North and Upper West, both of which will reconsider going reducing an already depleted crowd. The Upper West will be opened if the attendance against Newcastle is anything to go by, therefore you're displacing a group of supporters (for the second time in a few months) for absolutely no reason. The ticket prices for the home leg are okay for adult season members, its a complete rip-off for everyone else and an absolute joke for kids.

If they thought about it, they should have put an offer on for fans displaced from the north to get discount tickets in the upper west.

If a 'raucous' group survived, it would give them a stronger argument for shoving away fans up there in the future.

As ever, this ticket situation is totally confusing. How can Man U charge more for away fans? Don't they have to charge the same for equivalent seats?

The club's Twitter account has attempted to clarify the ticket pricing this morning (check out their feed) but frankly it made no sense to me.

The thing is that the allocation we have to give, 10% is more or less covered by the away area anyway so why the need for this? Especially when they were so stubborn over Newcastle getting extra tickets.
Though some people should realise that the ruling on 10%or 3,000 tickets for PL games means that ny stadium holding over 30,000 will see fans not able to have their usual seats. If Cup fever means that we take our full allocation of 7,500 like others have done then 4,500Man Utd fans can't have their usual seat.

Just looking at Man Utd's website and it says they have different price bands for different seats. Bands A-I with prices from £31-£53 so they aren't charging us more than all home fans

But a lot less for an adult. Anyway, I thought kids in Hull couldn't go to night matches as they have to be up for school.

I think everyone does know that, what they're annoyed about here is that the Upper West fans are been moved for absolutely no reason and the North Stand fans are being moved to allocate Man U more tickets than we need to.

People can accept it when they have to move to for a reason, people are annoyed because there is absolutely no reason to move anyone for this game.

Which is why I mentioned, there is no need re North Stand, and why do it when they could have had loads more Newcastle fans in a half empty stadium but resolutely refused to do so?

What a sad indictment of what the Allams have brought about when our first ever League Cup semi-final against Man Utd has at the beginning of the announcement bout ticket the statement about tickets not being available for the West Stand Upper not being open until the lower bowl is sold. Can you think of any other club where it wouldn't be automatically presumed it would be a sell out, let alone one with a relatively small ground? There are a host of Championship clubs with larger grounds which would have problems coping with demand.

You're absolutely spot on on there, we should have been excited to see the ticket news come out, instead its just more incompetence and apathy from those in charge making the fans increasingly more distant from the club.

Not Going to the away game

Bought tickets for west brom away for me and the Juniors instead.

Bugs me how many TT coaches go to Man U.
Man City and Liverpool and how few we take to so called smaller clubs.

You would think many only want to watch man u
