Newcastle have a good fan base, I'm not gonna start chatting about how **** theirs might have been back in the day, when they were in the lower leagues. It's easier just to remind them of how they come so close under Keegan but bottled it, then whilst we were current champions of Europe, they brought back Keegan and got relegated.
Newcastle's gates, in the early 90's were regularly below 20,000 ........ that was until they were promoted.

I still think liverpool are the bigger club, in terms of historically. if you look at football as a whole over the last 120 years, then yeah Liverpool are the biggest club in the world.
