It's not a problem its just so f**king boring and boorish imo.
If it's so boring why keep coming on, just start a riveting thread of your own and ignore this **** thread.
I just wish you would name names - would the number of posters who did this justify your harping on about it, if you want a witch hunt change your name to Matthew Hopkins and get on with it, or let it lie.
As I've said a billion times, if it applies to you as a wum, Mag or otherwise then **** you .......... if not it's not aimed at you so that's great
I would say when a realist was somebody who thought we were getting relegated when we were where we were with away games against City, Chelsea & Man Utd in front of us that we had to win to stay up.
An optimist would be someone who thought we would get the return we did.
Hindsight is a great thing and anyone using it as a basis to take the moral high ground is a smart arse in my book.
It's not hindsight at all, I've been saying for months that there would be many twists & turns, that 1 defeat didn't spell doom and 1 win didn't spell safety and that it would go to the last few games and we'd stay up on goal difference. That's not hindsight is it so I'm glad to have cleared that up. I'm not taking the moral high ground any more than those who thought it ludicrous to claim we still had a chance is it?
Either way, a Sunderland supporter would be one who was desolate at the prospect of going down, a Sunderland supporter would understand and appreciate why a fellow supporter would think they we may get relegated.
Only a cunnus of a Sunderland supporter would WANT Sunderland to go down and I do not believe there are many of those on here.
And I do not want to have a slanging match over this, I admire you tanacity and the fact you go the extra mile in supporting Sunderland on other boards, furthermore nobody was happier than I when you were proved right, can I have next friday's euro million numbers please.........
I'm not after a slanging match with decent people, including those who were despondent at various points.
However, I'm more than happy to have a slanging match with those who thought we were down and 'attacked' anyone who dared to be optimistic. They were happy to engage in debate at the time so why shouldn't I invite discussion now?
